PLAINFIELD – Metropolis cops responded to West Entrance Road on Saturday and located a “extremely intoxicated” man with a stab wound.
The sufferer was discovered on the seven hundred block of West Entrance Road and had a non-life threatening stab wound. He was taken to a hospital for remedy.

It is currently unclear why and how the victim was stabbed, according to a news release, but detectives are investigating the incident.
