DES MOINES — A mother from Johnston, Iowa was arrested on Thursday after she left her 4 youngsters residence alone to go on a visit to Germany.
Erin Lee Macke, 30, was charged with 4 counts of kid endangerment and one rely of creating a firearm obtainable to an individual underneath the age of 21, in response to Johnston police.
On Sept. 21, Johnston police have been referred to as to Macke’s residence after receiving a report that younger youngsters have been left unsupervised in the home.
When officers arrived, they discovered Macke’s youngsters. Two of the youngsters are 12, whereas the others are 6 and seven.
Upon additional investigation, police discovered Macke left the nation on Sept. 20 and was not scheduled to return till Oct. 1. She made no preparations to offer supervision of the youngsters whereas she was away, in accordance with police.
The Iowa Division of Human Providers took custody of the youngsters. Police referred to as Macke whereas she was in Germany and demanded she return residence.
